Freie Stadt Danzig

It was formed in 1920, separated from the German Empire, as the Free City of Danzig. In 1939 the city joined the German Empire and became part of the province of Danzing - WestPreussen. After World War II, the original population was evicted to Germany and the town became part of Poland.
